Rahasia Lubang Hitam Luar Angkasa Terungkap

Ilustrasi (Foto: Scienceblogs) CALIFORNIA - Lubang hitam (blackhole) rupanya meniupkan angin luar angkasa yang lebih kuat ketimbang perkiraan sebelumnya. Menurut penelitian, objek ini mengeluarkan lebih banyak energi ke dalam galaksi.

Dilansir Xinhuanet, Jumat (28/2/2014), temuan ini dipublikasikan dalam jurnal Science di Amerika Serikat. Temuan baru ini membantu astronom untuk membuat model lebih tepat terkait evolusi lubang hitam dari waktu ke waktu.

Model tersebut juga membantu penelitian mengenai bagaimana lubang hitam mempengaruhi galaksi induknya. Lubang hitam dipercaya sebagai area di luar angkasa, di mana gravitasi mampu menghisap segala material, bahkan cahaya tidak dapat keluar setelah masuk ke lubang hitam tersebut.

Namun, pada akhir Januari 2014, ilmuwan Stephen Hawking berujar bahwa tidak ada lubang hitam luar angkasa. Penelitian yang telah ada mengungkap, lubang hitam muncul ketika gas di luar angkasa mengalir ke dalam objek unik ini. Gas yang berada di dalam menjadi begitu panas yang memancarkan radiasi.

Para ilmuwan yang dipimpin Roberto Soria dari Curtin University, Australia menggunakan teleskop luar angkasa untuk mempelajari arus keluar dari lubang hitam di sebuah galaksi dengan kode nama M83 selama beberapa tahun.

Dengan menganalisis aliran gas di dalam lubang hitam, ilmuwan meyakini bahwa berat lubang hitam kurang dari 100 kali lipat dari berat matahari.

Pemilihan ini dilakukan oleh 175 juri yang terdiri dari analis independen, jurnalis, akademisi, para ahli. Penjurian tersebut telah selesai dilakukan pada 29 November 2013. Dan HTC One jadi pilihan paling banyak dari para juri.

"HTC One mengingatkan pada satu-satunya smartphone terbaik semasa 2013. Desainnya luar biasa, dan tampilan antar muka sangat menarik, ditambah dengan menyediakan fitur untuk pengalaman pengguna yang berbeda," jelas perwakilan juri di MWC 2014, seperti dikutip dari GSMArena, Rabu (26/2/2014).

Sebelumnya, pada penghargaan Global Mobile Awards 2013, ponsel Galaxy S3 dari Samsung menjadi pemenangnya. Namun perangkat andalan sebelum Galaxy S5 dirilis, yakni Galaxy Note 3, tak mampu membuat Samsung memertahankan posisinya sebagai ponsel terbaik di dunia.
